Last year, frustrated with having to split Christmas between an extended family: (both me and my wife come from a family of separation and divorce) my partner and i made the decision at the last minute we wanted our first ever holiday break alone. I got on the internet, and within a few minutes using the Hotels Etc. internet site was able to book a room for two over Christmas day.

We saved 50% on our entire visit. The most wonderful thing was that, not only did we reserve 3 weeks ahead of time, but I wished to go snowboarding, so I booked a room 20 minutes from a ski resort!
